Company Description

We’re Hiring: Mobile Patrol Officer

📍 Location: Swindon

💰 Pay: £13.45 per hour

📅 Hours: 12-hour night shifts

As a Security Officer, you will provide professional mobile security services across a designated area, protecting people, property, and assets. The Security Officer will carry out duties including patrols, alarm response, lock and unlock procedures, and site inspections while delivering excellent customer service. Working independently and as part of a wider team, the Security Officer will uphold the core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness, ensuring a safe and secure environment at all times.

Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

  • Conduct mobile patrols, alarm responses, lock/unlock duties, and site inspections.
  • Protect people, property, assets, and vacant premises.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach at all times.
  • Complete accurate incident reports and follow escalation procedures.
  • Manage keys, security equipment, and company vehicles responsibly.
  • Follow assignment instructions, health and safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Maintain compliance with SIA standards and safe driving practices.
  • Demonstrate the core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • Valid SIA Licence / SIA Front Line Licence
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Previous security experience preferred, ideally within a mobile patrol environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible to work days, nights, and weekends
  • Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable employment history
  • British nationality and UK residency for the past 5 years (due to site requirements)
  • Calm, reliable, and professional under pressure
  • Committed to delivering excellent service while upholding the values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness
  • Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.
