Mobile Plant Engineer
Location: Southampton - Regional Coverage
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Shift: Days
Are you an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer looking for a regional role that offers a great work-life balance and no nights away from home?
We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Plant Engineer to join an established and growing business, covering customers across Southampton and the surrounding regional areas.
The Role
As a Mobile Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of a range of mobile plant and equipment. You will travel to customer sites across the region, ensuring machinery is maintained to a high standard and kept operational.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on mobile plant equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Servicing and inspecting machinery
- Attending customer sites across the regional area
- Completing service reports and maintenance records
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with mobile plant, heavy plant, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, or similar.
You should be confident with:

- Mechanical and electrical fault finding
- Hydraulic systems
- Diesel engines
- Preventative and reactive maintenance
- Working independently at customer sites
- Holding a full UK driving licence
