Description

As a Mobile Plant Operative in Enva, you will ensure the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of DMR plant under the direction of the Operations Manager and shift supervisor.

• Responsible for ensuring relevant waste is separated per its stream and that all recyclable elements are recovered.
• Responsible for stock management within the glass plant area, processing glass, and loading vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the DMR plant operations are managed in line with Health and Safety legislation and Enva standards.
• Ensure all duties (recycling, inspections, and cleaning) are carried out and recorded as per company and manufacturers' instructions and procedures.
• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the plant in accordance with site license and contractual conditions.
• Sort and separate waste types to ensure plant performance is at its highest.
• Training will be given on specialized plant.
• Maintain the highest cleanliness of all working areas.
• Ensure that the machines are maintained in a clean condition. Any defect affecting the safe working order of a machine to be reported immediately.
• Ensure that the correct Personal Protective Equipment, as provided by the Company, is worn at all times. The correct PPE must be worn at all times when handling waste materials.
• Remaining aware, at all times, of your responsibilities for your own Health and Safety and for the Health and Safety of your work colleagues.
• Carry out other tasks within your operational ability or for which you have received appropriate training, as and when required.
• Ensuring compliance with all company work practices as directed.
• Operate mobile plant and other plant equipment safely and competently where trained, instructed, and qualified to do so.
• Assisting with the general operations as required and instructed.
