What You'll Be Doing
As a Refrigeration Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing refrigeration equipment across your designated stores, ensuring our systems remain reliable, compliant and operating at peak performance.
You'll
- Maintain and repair refrigeration assets including display cabinets, freezers, cold rooms, refrigeration packs, condensers and chillers.
- Diagnose faults using both your engineering expertise and remote monitoring platforms such as RDM and Monika.
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance efficiently to minimise downtime.
- Work closely with store colleagues to deliver excellent service and keep disruption to a minimum.
- Ensure all work complies with F-Gas requirements and Health & Safety standards.
- Complete digital reports and maintain accurate compliance records.

Essential
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent experience.
- F-Gas Category 1 certification.
- Strong refrigeration fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently with a strong customer-focused approach.
Desirable
- Experience in commercial refrigeration, supermarket refrigeration, HVAC, transport refrigeration or air conditioning.
- Ex-Forces engineering background.
