We’re Hiring: Mobile Response Officer

📍 Location: MK17 8LX
💰 Pay: £13.45 Per Hour
📅 Hours: 12 Hour shifts, 4 on 4 off nights

As a Mobile Response Officer at Securitas, you'll do more than protect people and property, you'll provide reassurance, rapid support, and a visible security presence when it's needed most. Your professionalism and vigilance will help create safer environments for our clients and communities.

Whether you're responding to alarms, conducting mobile patrols, performing lock and unlock duties, or carrying out essential site inspections, as a Mobile Response Officer you'll play a vital role in protecting what matters most. Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a key role in protecting our clients’ people, property, and assets across multiple locations. As a Mobile Response Officer, no two shifts are the same, and your vigilance, professionalism, and quick decision-making will help keep sites secure around the clock. That includes:

  • Responding promptly and professionally to alarm activations and security incidents.
  • Conducting scheduled mobile patrols and security inspections across client sites.
  • Carrying out lock and unlock duties in line with site-specific procedures.
  • Safely operating company vehicles while travelling between locations.
  • Investigating and reporting suspicious activity, security breaches, and incidents.
  • Providing a visible security presence to deter crime and anti-social behaviour.
  • Supporting emergency situations and escalating concerns when required.
  • Completing detailed incident reports, patrol records, and handover documentation.
  • Delivering excellent customer service while liaising with clients, emergency services, and members of the public.
  • Ensuring all assignments are carried out in accordance with company, client, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who sees a different world, someone who thrives on responsibility, works well independently, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. Ideally, you'll have:

  • A valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding licence.
  • A full UK driving licence with a good driving record.
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and public holidays as part of a shift pattern.
  • The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable employment and address history.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • The ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive in challenging situations.
  • Excellent observational skills and a proactive approach to security.
  • Confidence working independently and managing multiple priorities across different locations.
  • Experience in security, mobile patrol, customer service, or a similar environment is desirable, although not essential.
