Mobile Service BMS Engineer
Equans is looking for a Mobile Service BMS Engineer to join our Digital business, covering parts of Birmingham and the surrounding areas on a full-time basis. At Equans Digital, we aren’t just upgrading Building Management Systems; we’re collaborating with the UK’s commercial and public sectors to build a 'Smart Enabled' future. Supported by an ambitious 5-year growth strategy and projects ranging up to 1.5m, we are looking for a team to help us grow sustainably.
Key activities:
- As a Mobile BMS Service Engineer, you will manage a variety of essential planned and reactive tasks across our diverse portfolio, including Schools, Hospitals, Offices, Business Parks, and Government Buildings.
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Preventative Maintenance: Carrying out scheduled maintenance checks on BMS systems and components to ensure smooth operation across various sites.
- Reactive Calls: Responding to breakdowns when things go wrong.
This role involves participating in a reactive call-out rota, which includes additional financial benefits for on-call availability and attendance.
- Continuous Improvement: Working with other engineer colleagues to help make recommendations to our clients to enhance system performance and energy efficiency.
This will require teams to complete thorough reports and build up clear cost estimates & quotes for system enhancements.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- City & Guild / BTEC / NVQ in Electrical or BEMS
- Knowledge and Experience of at least one of the following (additional training can be provided depending on the area requirements at a later date): Trend, Tridium, Distech, Siemens, Niagara
- Knowledge & experience of HVAC and mechanical systems in a commercial environment
- Full UK Driving License
- BPSS vetting
