Mobile Service Technician (Mechanical)
£30,000 - £33,000 + Full Specialist Training + Company Van + Fuel Card + Progression + Mobile Phone
Location: Chester
Are you a Mechanical Apprentice, Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer or mechanically minded individual looking to kickstart your career within a specialist engineering sector through industry-leading training and long-term progression?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and well-established business that will invest heavily in your development through a structured training programme, shadowing senior engineers and providing a clear route into becoming a fully qualified Mobile Field Engineer.
The company are specialists in hydraulic hose replacement and repair services, supporting customers across the plant, agricultural, industrial and commercial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add another engineer to their field-based team.

In this role, you will receive two weeks of specialist workshop-based training before progressing into a structured shadowing programme alongside an experienced Senior Field Service Engineer. You will then attend customer sites across North Wales and Liverpool carrying out hydraulic hose repairs, replacements, maintenance and breakdown support.
The Role:
- Mobile Field Engineer covering North Wales and Liverpool
- Hydraulic hose repairs and replacements
- Breakdown response and preventative maintenance
- Structured training programme and ongoing development
- Company van, fuel card and mobile phone provided
The Person:
- Mechanical apprenticeship or hands-on mechanical background
- Keen to learn and develop specialist hydraulic skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
