Your van. Your patch. Fixed first time.
Keep utility fleet vans and light commercials across East London safe, legal and on the road, working from a fully stocked van with the vehicle's history in your hand before you arrive. Plantexpand keeps the plant and vehicles behind the UK's water, power, gas and telecoms networks working. Around 95% of our work is done on site, from vans stocked for the job, and our engineers fix first time on more than 90% of jobs, with an eight bay workshop and a planning team behind them.
What you'll do
- Service, inspect and repair fleet vans and light commercial vehicles on customer sites
- Carry out vehicle safety and compliance inspections
- Service and repair tail lifts
- Diagnose faults with modern diagnostic equipment

What you'll need
- Level 2 or Level 3 light vehicle qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Confidence working on your own, out on site
- A full UK driving licence
Nice to have
- Tail lift servicing and repair experience
- Mobile or roadside experience
- EV qualification (IMI Level 2 or above)
Hours
45 hours a week, plus 2.5 hours of paid meal breaks across the week. You are paid door to door, from when you leave home.
What you get
- Up to £45,000 a year, plus overtime and enhanced overtime
- Discretionary monthly performance bonus: £200 on target, up to £500 at stretch, based on company targets
- £200 a week when you are on the on-call rota, plus enhanced overtime and call-out payments
- Company van no more than four years old, designed by our engineers and fitted with the major tools, diagnostics and parts for the job, plus a company fuel card (business use only)
- 20 days' holiday plus bank holidays
- Company pension
- Two paid staff events a year and monthly recognition vouchers
- £2,000 for every engineer you refer who we hire
