Mobile Web Developer
Burnley area — only 1 day a week in the office
Fixed-Term Contract — 12 months
Up to £45,000 + Benefits
KO2 Recruitment is working with a fantastic client in the Burnley area, looking for a talented Mobile Web Developer to join their team on a maternity cover basis. You'll step into a key role, helping build and maintain mobile-first web experiences that delight customers and generate significantly fewer support tickets.
This is a great opportunity to make an immediate impact, work with a great team, and inherit a codebase that is well documented. This role offers very flexible remote working and you will only be required to visit the office once a week.

What You'll Be Doing
- Developing responsive web applications that work across phones, tablets, and other devices
- Collaborating with designers, product owners, and fellow developers
- Optimising performance
- Troubleshooting bugs
- Writing clean, maintainable code
- Participating in code reviews and sharing best practices
- Testing across browsers; including Safari and others
What You'll Need
- Strong, hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with React, Angular, or Vue
- Solid understanding of responsive and mobile-first design
- Experience working with REST APIs
- Comfortable using browser debugging tools

- Experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWAs)
- Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Accessibility expertise
