About the Company
Our client, a UK strategic delivery consultancy, is bidding to become mobilisation and transition partner on a major public sector managed service contract, where a single provider will take over operations currently delivered by several. They need a named Mobilisation Lead whose CV will be submitted with the proposal. The end client and full details will be disclosed in discussion.
About the Role
If successful, this person will shape the mobilisation section of the bid, be the face of mobilisation to the customer, own the mobilisation plan and then run the mobilisation itself.
Engagement:
Contract, UK hybrid with travel to client sites
Timing:
Immediate, for the bid stage, with a longer-term role if successful
Clearance:
SC clearance essential
Responsibilities
- Shape and write the mobilisation and transition sections of the bid, including approach, plan, governance, risk and resourcing
- Represent mobilisation with the customer through the procurement process
- Design the business combination, bringing people, assets, data, systems and supply chain from multiple providers into a single operation
- Own the mobilisation plan post bid and lead its delivery through to service commencement, including readiness assurance and TUPE
- Manage senior stakeholders across the customer, the provider and outgoing providers
- Work within our client's methodology alongside consultants of all grades

Qualifications
Current SC clearance
Essential experience:
- Led the mobilisation or transition into service of a large, complex outsourced or managed service contract in government or defence
- Business combination or multi-provider transition into a single operation
- Asset-intensive infrastructure or utilities businesses
- Owned the mobilisation section of a major public sector bid and been customer facing during procurement
- Current SC clearance

Pay range and compensation to be negotiated
