AI Model Artist

We are looking for an AI Model Artist who specialises in training and developing generative ML models to create hyperrealistic visual outputs. This role involves working closely with developers, VFX artists, and AI teams to push the boundaries of synthetic media and enhance the performance of our proprietary tools.

Responsibilities

  • Train and fine-tune ML models to generate hyperrealistic synthetic media.
  • Curate, manage, and optimise datasets to achieve high-quality, lifelike outputs.
  • Diagnose and solve challenges using both in-house and open-source technologies.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple model training processes and track progress.
  • Critically evaluate results with a focus on facial likeness and realism.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to innovate model training techniques.
  • Stay on top of emerging AI research, tools, and workflows, exploring creative implementations.
  • Work with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to translate project requirements into technical solutions.
  • Continuously monitor and optimise model performance for efficiency and accuracy.

Must Have

  • Proven experience training ML models (GANs, Stable Diffusion, or similar).
  • Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments.
  • Critical eye for facial likeness and visual quality.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Calm under pressure and able to meet deadlines.

Bonus Skills

  • Visual effects (VFX) or compositing experience (NUKE or similar).
  • Python and ML programming experience.
  • Experience with face-swap systems and face-swap workflows.
  • Knowledge of stable diffusion and other generative models.
