Fueled by bold ambition
As a Model Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the physical components that feed our aerodynamic development—the very foundation of on-track performance. Working at the heart of our Silverstone facility, you’ll be part of a highly skilled, ambitious group of engineers focused on technical excellence and relentless innovation. Your work will directly influence car performance in the wind tunnel, translating design into data, and ultimately into lap time.
You’ll be trusted with end-to-end ownership of complex design projects, and encouraged to challenge convention, push boundaries, and propose smarter, faster, more efficient ways of working. With a culture that values initiative and creativity, your ideas will not only be heard—they’ll be expected.
This is your chance to make a lasting mark on the future of our team, in a high-performance environment where every part counts and every detail matters.

- Support on complete design projects, including CAD creation, project management, quality-checking, and documentation
- Continuously improve the functionality, quality, and robustness of model parts to optimize wind tunnel test efficiency
- Drive the development and implementation of improved design workflows and standards
- Collaborate closely with Aerodynamicists and Surface Design Engineers to ensure alignment with technical specifications

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
