Cadillac Formula 1® Team at our Silverstone facility. In this role, you will be part of a dedicated team working across the Model Shop and Wind Tunnel environments to manufacture, assemble, and test high-quality components for aerodynamic development and wind tunnel testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture wind tunnel model parts and assemblies to the highest standards while meeting demanding project deadlines
  • Support the Model Shop team in managing workloads and achieving departmental targets
  • Build and maintain complex mechanical assemblies for wind tunnel models
  • Identify technical issues and assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities
  • Collaborate with Model Design Engineers to improve the efficiency, functionality, and quality of model changes and components
  • Support and maintain Health & Safety standards within the working environment
  • Travel regularly as required to support team activities and testing operations

What do you need to bring to the team?

  • Proven experience in wind tunnel model preparation and wind tunnel testing
  • Background in model-making within a high-performance motorsport environment
  • Good understanding of mechanical installations and assemblies
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards
  • A positive approach and commitment to contributing to an open, collaborative, and inclusive team culture
