Location: Hybrid (1-2 days in our Birmingham office or client site per week)

Level: 4+ years’ experience | Qualified/Part Qualified accountant preferred

Type: Full-time, permanent. 28 days annual leave offered in addition to bank holidays.

This is a full-time, hybrid role with 1-2 days a week in our Birmingham office or on client site, and flexibility to work from home.

Model Development & Solution Design
You will design, build, and maintain robust financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, scenario analysis, and strategic decision-making. This includes ensuring outputs are robust, insightful, and aligned with client strategy.

Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
You will engage with clients to understand their strategic, management and operational objectives and develop an understanding of their data landscape. This includes developing interactive visualisations, dashboards and BI reports (e.g. in Excel, PowerBI) which enable client reporting, and making their data accessible to end users.

Advisory & Consulting
You will work with client teams (e.g. board/exec, operational staff) to understand and support their business, acting as a trusted face of delivery. You’ll provide strategic input, foster confidence, and build long-term value through proactive and insightful engagement and project management.

Business Development
Being part of a small, growing consultancy, you will take a leading role in our firm’s growth through business development activities, including building and maintaining trusted relationships, scoping and structuring new client work, developing compelling proposals and contributing to the ongoing development of internal methodologies/IP.


About you

We’re looking for someone who brings both deep technical capability and strong consulting skills.

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience delivering business modelling, data analytics, and business intelligence analytics, including financial reporting solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (including VBA, PowerQuery), with experience in building complex financial models preferred.
  • Experience with modelling tools, BI platforms and analytics solutions such as PowerBI, Tableau, SQL.
  • Qualified or Part Qualified Chartered Accountant (e.g. ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred
  • Proven ability to lead projects and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues and present confidently to non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable operating independently and collaboratively, managing competing priorities and delivering under pressure.
