Flexible Worker Contract

Location: Remote

About the role

We’re keen to build an ongoing pipeline of Visiting Moderators / Quality Assurers to join our T Level Moderator team to support our peak moderation periods across the year. These flexible worker roles focus on supporting the T Level Technical Qualification in Education and Early Years (Level 3) delivered by NCFE and are ideal for Assessors and Internal Quality Assurers (IQAs) looking to gain experience within our external quality assurance team in a visiting moderation role.

As a Moderator, you’ll play a key part in ensuring assessment quality, consistency, and compliance across providers delivering Early Years and Education programmes.

As part of these visiting moderation roles, travel will be required within business hours during the moderation windows which take place September to January and February to May.

By submitting your application, you’ll join our talent pool, and we’ll contact suitable candidates as moderation opportunities arise.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Visiting providers to observe students and assessors to carry out moderation in line with our quality assurance policies and following up with further remote moderation.
  • Completing clear, accurate, and timely reports (working to SLAs).
  • Providing excellent customer service and support to providers, helping them understand assessment requirements.
  • Identifying risks, areas of non-compliance, and development needs, producing action plans to drive improvement.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider Moderation team to embed changes and maintain high standards.
  • Upholding regulatory and compliance requirements for Early Years and Education qualifications.

We’d love to hear from you if you offer the following:

  • Subject expertise in Early Years / Education qualified to Level 3 or above.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience delivering Early Years, Supporting Teaching & Learning, or Education qualifications.
  • Up-to-date CPD demonstrating occupational competence in Early Years and/or Assisting Teaching.
  • Qualification and experience of assessment and internal quality assurance.
  • Strong report-writing, communication, and organisational skills.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
