About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Modern Endpoint - EUC Engineer / Junior Consultant to join our growing Cloud and Cyber Practice. This role is ideally suited to someone looking to develop their career in Modern Endpoint Management, End User Computing (EUC) and Modern Workplace Consulting.
Working alongside experienced Consultants and Architects, you will contribute to the design, implementation, migration, optimisation and support of secure endpoint management solutions across enterprise customer environments. You will gain hands-on experience across Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Defender technologies, supporting Windows, iOS/iPadOS, Android and macOS platforms.
As part of customer engagements and managed services activities, you will also gain exposure to device management, application management, Windows Autopilot, application packaging and deployment, endpoint security, Conditional Access, compliance management and modern device lifecycle services.
Please note: This role will require flexibility to travel to customer sites when required as part of client engagements, including supporting end-user device deployments and equipment replacement.
As The Modern Endpoint - EUC Engineer, You Will
- Support the implementation, migration and optimisation of Microsoft Modern Endpoint and EUC solutions.
- Configure and administer Microsoft Intune across a range of enterprise devices.
- Support Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) across corporate-owned and BYOD devices.
- Assist with Windows Autopilot deployments, device provisioning, enrolment and lifecycle management.
- Support device compliance policies, configuration profiles and application deployments.
- Package, test, deploy and troubleshoot applications within customer environments.
- Support endpoint security capabilities including Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, security baselines and device compliance controls.
- Assist with Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, multifactor authentication and identity-driven access controls.
- Support Windows servicing and update activities, including Windows Update for Business and Windows Autopatch.
- Participate in customer workshops, discovery sessions, migrations, testing and technical delivery activities.
- Troubleshoot device configuration, policy deployment, application management and authentication issues.
- Produce implementation guides, test plans, operational runbooks and other technical documentation.
- Use PowerShell and automation where appropriate to support endpoint management and operational efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with Consultants, Architects and wider delivery teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
- Attend customer sites where required to support end-user device deployments, upgrades and equipment replacement as part of client engagements.

Requirements
- Practical experience within IT support, endpoint management, infrastructure operations or Modern Workplace technologies.
- Good understanding of Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11 and enterprise endpoint management concepts.
- Some hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, including areas such as device enrolment, configuration profiles, compliance policies or application deployment.
- Understanding of Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID and identity concepts such as multifactor authentication and device registration.
- Experience troubleshooting end-user devices, applications or identity-related issues.
- An understanding of endpoint security principles and an interest in developing knowledge of Microsoft Defender and Zero Trust.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the confidence to engage with technical teams, end users and customer stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively within project and operational delivery teams.
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple activities.
- Experience producing technical documentation, user guides or operational procedures.
- A genuine interest in developing your career across Modern Endpoint Management, Modern Workplace and Security technologies.
- Willingness to continually learn, develop your technical expertise and work towards relevant Microsoft certifications.
- Flexibility to travel to customer sites where required as part of project and deployment activities.

Desirable Experience
- Exposure to Windows Autopilot and modern device provisioning.
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and endpoint security technologies.
- Microsoft Entra ID Conditional Access and identity security capabilities.
- Windows Update for Business and Windows Autopatch.
- Microsoft Intune Suite capabilities such as Remote Help, Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM), Enterprise App Management (EAM) and Cloud PKI.
- Windows Hello for Business, BitLocker and Cloud LAPS.
- Android Enterprise or Apple Business Manager.
- Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) and co-management.
- Windows 365 Cloud PC or Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
- PowerShell or Microsoft Graph automation.
- Application packaging technologies including Win32 applications and Microsoft 365 Apps.
- Experience working within security-conscious, regulated or Critical National Infrastructure environments.
- Microsoft certifications such as MD-102, MS-102, SC-900 or AZ-900, or a willingness to work towards relevant certifications.
