About Durata

Durata is a fast-paced, growing business at the heart of the data centre and critical infrastructure industry. Delivering modular data centres, critical power solutions and legacy optimisation projects across the globe, we combine in-house design, fabrication and turnkey delivery to support the world's leading OEMs, contractors and data centre operators.

As demand for resilient, off-site manufactured infrastructure continues to grow, we're looking for an ambitious Modular Sales Manager to help expand our presence across the UK and internationally.

Role Purpose

The Modular Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities for Durata's modular infrastructure solutions, including power skids, power pods, modular electrical plant rooms, battery energy storage enclosures and modular data centre solutions.

Working closely with engineering, estimating and project delivery teams, you'll build strong customer relationships, understand technical requirements and develop commercially competitive proposals that deliver value for clients. This is a sales role requiring both commercial awareness and an understanding of modular engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across data centres, critical infrastructure, utilities, industrial, renewable energy, nuclear and commercial sectors.
  • Generate and manage a healthy pipeline of modular projects from initial enquiry through to contract award.
  • Build long-term relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, EPCs, OEMs and end users.
  • Promote Durata's modular capabilities including power skids, switchroom modules, plant rooms, battery storage enclosures, SMRs and modular data centre infrastructure.
  • Work with customers to understand project requirements and develop value-engineered modular solutions.
  • Coordinate with design and estimating teams to prepare competitive technical and commercial proposals.
  • Lead customer meetings, presentations and site visits.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and support contract close-out.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
  • Represent Durata at industry events, exhibitions and networking opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities within critical infrastructure and modular construction.
  • Support the continued development of Durata's modular product offering through customer feedback and market insight.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
