Role description
At Tata Technologies we make product development dreams a reality by designing, engineering and validating the products of tomorrow for the world’s leading manufacturers. Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for a Module Leader - Interiors to be based at our office in Warwick.
Our Engineering Research and Development department (ER&D) is a fast growing function within Tata Technologies Limited that is assembled to work on exciting projects globally for multiple customers. It comprises highly specialized engineers across Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial Heavy Machinery.
The Role
The Module Leader will establish and lead the Interior Programme Module Team, ensuring cross-functional input from all relevant engineering, design, quality, manufacturing and supplier disciplines from concept through to launch and post-launch support. You will provide technical leadership and programme governance for all interior commodity areas including cockpit, instrument panel, overhead systems, floor console, soft trim, and cabin integration. You will own module delivery within the programme and play an active role in launch readiness activity under the Agile in Launch framework.
Area of Responsibility
- Lead and coordinate the Interior Module Team, ensuring robust engineering delivery across all interior commodities from programme start through to launch and early life support.
- Owning the integrated interior module plan including design release milestones, virtual validation, physical build events, DVP&R completion and launch readiness gates.
- Working with design, engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver class-leading interior architecture that meets styling intent, cost, weight, quality and regulatory targets.
- Leading DFMEA, DFA, DFM, Campaign Prevention, Robustness and Concurrent Engineering disciplines across all interior commodities.
- Developing and owning System and Component Design Specifications and Statements of Work for interior suppliers.
- Managing supplier delivery through APQP, monitoring part maturity, tooling readiness and validation sign-off.
- Leading issue resolution on interior AIMS entries, panel chart findings and attribute arbitration. Maintaining financial governance of the interior module, monitoring cost status versus target and managing risks and opportunities.
- Representing the Interior Module at programme reviews, gateway meetings and customer-facing engineering forums. Supporting virtual and physical series reviews for interior content including CAD, DFM and assembly validation.
- Actively supporting launch under the Agile in Launch framework: participating in sprint-based issue resolution, backlog prioritisation, and rapid response to build and quality findings.
- Ensuring all interior commodities are signed off at End of Line and supporting executive drive preparation where interior attribute quality is in scope.
- Championing a culture of quality, delivery pace and engineering rigour across the module team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
