We’re looking for a Montessori Classroom Assistant who shares our passion for helping children develop independence, confidence, concentration and a lifelong love of learning.

Salary: £15.30/hour (Level 2) | £16.30/hour (Level 3) | £14.80/hour (unqualified)
Hours: Full-time | 4 days/week | 10 hours/day | Permanent, all year round
What You’ll Do
- Support children aged 2–5 years in our Montessori environment
- Encourage independence, choice and hands-on learning
- Support activities across Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics and Culture
- Observe and respond to each child’s individual interests and developmental needs
- Help maintain a beautifully prepared, calm and inviting classroom
- Encourage children to develop confidence, concentration and self-discipline
- Build warm, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Work as part of a team to provide exceptional care and education
- Follow safeguarding, nursery policies and high standards of practice

About You
You’ll be warm, patient, observant and passionate about children’s development. You’ll ideally have:
- A full and relevant Early Years Qualification – preferred
- Experience working with children under 5 – essential
- Montessori experience or a genuine interest in Montessori education – desirable
- A positive, flexible and collaborative approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent English – essential
- A strong commitment to safeguarding
- Willingness to complete a DBS check and provide references
Most importantly, you’ll believe in giving children the time, space and support to “do it themselves” and develop into confident, capable learners.
