About the Role
We are looking for an experienced full-time Mortgage Administrator to join our team as Team Leader.
This role is responsible for leading and supporting the Mortgage Administration team, ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality administrative support throughout the mortgage application process. The Team Leader oversees day-to-day workloads, provides guidance to team members, and ensures service standards, productivity, and compliance requirements are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the end-to-end administration of mortgage applications
- Maintaining accurate client records
- Overseeing the timely submission of documentation to lenders and insurers
- Ensuring cases progress smoothly from initial enquiry through to completion
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, lenders, and third parties, resolving complex queries, monitoring outstanding actions, and ensuring effective communication

Qualifications
- Experience working in a mortgage administration team, ideally with experience of overseeing tasks and delegating to the team
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain information clearly and liaise effectively with clients and third parties
- Proven customer service skills, demonstrating a client-focused approach and attention to detail
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
- Competence in using office software and CRM systems; confidence working with data and documentation
