Are you an experienced Mortgage Administrator looking to join a friendly, well-established independent mortgage firm?
We’re working with a highly regarded mortgage practice based in the heart of Bristol, who are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mortgage Administrator to support their busy team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key member of a close-knit team where you’ll play a vital role in delivering an exceptional client experience and ensuring mortgage applications progress smoothly from enquiry through to completion.
The Role
Supporting a team of Mortgage Advisors, you’ll manage mortgage administration throughout the entire application process. You will be the main point of contact for clients, lenders, solicitors and advisers, ensuring all documentation is accurately collected, compliance requirements are met, and applications progress efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing mortgage applications from submission through to completion
- Preparing suitability letters and supporting compliance processes
- Producing Agreements in Principle (AIPs)
- Liaising with clients, lenders, solicitors and advisers regarding application progress
- Obtaining and reviewing supporting documentation required by lenders
- Uploading documentation to lender portals and internal systems
- Resolving application issues and chasing outstanding information
- Providing outstanding customer service and support throughout the mortgage journey
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring regulatory compliance at all times
- Following established processes and procedures to ensure efficient case management
- Can discuss Management level if the experience aligns

Requirements
- Proven experience in a Mortgage Administrator position
- Strong understanding of mortgage processes and lender requirements
- Knowledge of mortgage compliance procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
The Package
- Salary starting at £28,000
- 22 days annual leave
- 37.5-hour working week
