Mortgage Administrator

Full-time, permanent

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced, organised and proactive administrator to join Meta Mortgages at an exciting stage of our growth. This is more than just a case management and admin role - you’ll play a key part in progressing mortgage applications and operations, taking ownership of a live pipeline and ensuring our clients receive an efficient, friendly and seamless service from first enquiry through to completion. Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as the first point of contact for the Meta Mortgages inbox, managing and responding to emails
  • Answering and handling inbound calls and enquires
  • Processing mortgage applications and managing cases from submission through to completion
  • Document management – keeping document folders tidy and uploading client documents to our CRM system and lender portals
  • Liaising with clients, lenders, solicitors and other relevant parties
  • Chasing clients for outstanding documents needed to progress their application
  • Spreadsheet management – maintaining and updating trackers and records accurately and keeping them up to date
  • Managing the CRM system and keeping client and case records accurate
  • Monitoring key dates across the case pipeline
  • Helping with the day-to-day running of the business
  • Suggesting and helping to put in place improvements to our processes

Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of good administrative and organisational skills (ideally in mortgages)
  • Strong communication skills and a confident telephone manner
  • Confident using email and Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and comfortable learning new software/systems and AI tools
  • Effective time management with the ability to plan and manage priorities and deadlines
  • Have the desire to develop their knowledge and potentially progress in Meta Mortgages

Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Location: Beckenham, London (Hybrid)
Starting Salary: £26,000 DOE including bonus structure
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am–5.00pm
