Role Description
The Mortgage Administrator is a Part-time role based in Shrewsbury, offered on a hybrid basis with potentially some work-from-home flexibility. In this position, the individual will support mortgage advisers by preparing and processing mortgage applications, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory requirements. - Liaising with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders
- Updating systems and records
- Tracking application progress
- Managing correspondence
- Handling client queries
- Maintaining service standards
- Helping to ensure a smooth, efficient mortgage journey from initial enquiry through to completion
The Mortgage Administrator will collaborate closely with the wider financial services team to uphold a client-focused, professional environment.

Qualifications
- Knowledge or experience in mortgage processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive client and lender relationships.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Good IT skills, including proficiency with CRM systems and standard office software.
- Organizational and time-management abilities, with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
- Previous experience in mortgage administration or a similar financial services support role is preferred.
- Relevant professional qualifications or progression towards them (e.g., CeMAP or equivalent) are advantageous.
