Company Description

Park Gate (Mortgage & Protection) Ltd is an independent mortgage intermediary based in Whiteley, Fareham, providing advice and arranging mortgages across the UK market. The team is fully CeMap qualified and focused on delivering a personal, hassle-free experience for clients. The company manages the entire mortgage process from initial advice through to completion, coordinating with lenders, surveyors, estate agents, and solicitors. In addition to mortgage services, Park Gate also advises on life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection, and business protection.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Mortgage Adviser role based in Whiteley. The Mortgage Adviser will provide tailored mortgage advice, assessing clients’ financial situations and recommending suitable products from the whole of the UK mortgage market. The role involves managing applications from initial enquiry to completion, including preparing documentation, submitting cases, and liaising with lenders, surveyors, estate agents, and solicitors to ensure a smooth process.

  • Strong knowledge of Mortgages, with the ability to interpret and explain mortgage products clearly.
  • Experience in Mortgage Marketing and Financial Planning to support client acquisition and holistic advice.
  • CeMap qualified (or equivalent industry-recognized qualification) and committed to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and client service skills, with a professional and ethical approach.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases from application to completion.
  • Comfort with on-site client meetings in Whiteley and use of digital tools for remote appointments and case management.
  • At least 1 - 2 years previous experience as a Mortgage Adviser or in a regulated financial services environment is preferred.
