The Role

As a Mortgage Adviser, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our clients through their mortgage needs, ensuring they receive tailored advice that's in their best interests. You'll be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our reputation for providing expert advice, driven by integrity, professionalism, and a deep understanding of the financial services’ landscape.

Job Title: Mortgage Adviser
Location: Whiteley, Hampshire
Contract Type: Full-Time/Part-Time (Flexible). Employed / Self Employed
Salary: Employed / Self Employed - Competitive Salary / Percentage Split

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive mortgage advice to new and existing clients, understanding their needs and offering solutions that best meet their financial goals.
  • Provide advice and recommendation on residential mortgages, Buy to Let mortgages, remortgages, product transfers. Later life lending subject to holding the required qualifications or working towards this.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the market, including lender criteria and regulatory requirements, to provide the best possible advice to clients.
  • Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and the principles of Consumer Duty, upholding the highest standards of conduct and customer care.
  • Manage and develop relationships with clients, providing exceptional service that encourages repeat business and referrals.
  • Work effectively within the team and contribute to the ongoing development and success of the business.

About You:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a mortgage role, preferably with Full CeMAP or industry equivalent qualification.
  • Strong understanding of FCA regulations and the importance of Consumer Duty.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Proactive, motivated, and committed to continuous learning and development.
  • An existing client bank would be advantageous but not essential.
  • A Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
