Salary: £35,000 per annum
OTE: £71,000+

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Mortgage Adviser to join our growing Second Charge Mortgage team, based at our offices in Bridgeton, Glasgow.
This is an excellent opportunity for an adviser who enjoys working with customers, understands the lending market and wants to build a successful career within the specialist second charge mortgage sector. You will be responsible for providing high-quality, compliant advice to customers, understanding their individual circumstances and financial objectives, and helping them find an appropriate second charge mortgage solution.
We can facilitate in-office, a hybrid working model or full remote giving you the flexibility to work how you want to work.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conducting high-quality, compliant second charge mortgage advice
- Speaking with customers to understand their financial circumstances, objectives and requirements
- Assessing customer needs and identifying suitable lending solutions
- Explaining mortgage products, costs, risks and repayment options clearly
- Working with our underwriting team to manage customer applications through to completion
- Building strong relationships with customers and lenders
- Maintaining accurate and compliant customer records
- Ensuring all advice meets FCA regulatory requirements and our internal compliance standards
- Working towards individual and team targets
- Delivering an excellent customer experience throughout the advice process

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- A qualified Mortgage Adviser - CeMAP qualified or equivalent
- Ideally experienced within second charge mortgages, secured lending or specialist lending but not required
- Confident providing advice over the telephone
- Commercially driven and motivated by earning potential
- Customer-focused, with excellent communication skills
- Comfortable working in a target-driven environment
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Committed to delivering compliant, high-quality advice
- Able to work independently while also contributing positively to a team
