Location: Stanmore, North London – Hybrid Working
Salary: £32,000 Basic
Realistic OTE: £70,000 (Year 1) | £90,000+ (Year 2)
About our Client:
We are working with a highly successful and well-established financial advisory firm based in North London, with almost three decades of experience providing independent, whole-of-market mortgage and financial advice.
The business has built an excellent reputation for providing a high-quality, personal service and has developed a large, established client base. Advisers benefit from a strong flow of warm, qualified opportunities, including a substantial existing remortgage client bank, meaning there is no reliance on cold calling or purchasing leads.
The company specialises in both straightforward and complex cases, giving advisers the opportunity to broaden their experience across residential mortgages, buy-to-let, protection, commercial finance and specialist lending. There is a strong focus on professional development, with support available to help advisers progress into more complex areas such as bridging and development finance.
With a collaborative team culture and a strong emphasis on quality, client service and professional development, this is an excellent opportunity for a Mortgage Adviser looking to build a long-term career within an established and growing business.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a driven, personable and ambitious Mortgage Adviser to join the team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality mortgage advice, assessing clients’ individual circumstances and recommending suitable solutions across a broad range of lenders.
You will manage your clients throughout the mortgage journey, from initial consultation through to completion, while building trusted relationships and delivering a first-class level of service.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
