If you are a Mortgage Adviser looking for a brokerage where values genuinely matter just as much as performance, this could be a rare opportunity to join a growing, purpose-led firm in the Bristol area.
You will be joining a business that has built strong momentum through word of mouth, repeat clients, and carefully invested lead generation. This is not a high churn, desk-based, or call center style environment. Instead, as a Mortgage Adviser, you will work with clients start to finish, supported by a collaborative team and a firm that focuses on doing things properly rather than quickly.
As a Mortgage Adviser within this team, you will balance your own introducers and client relationships while also benefiting from quality leads provided by the business. This Mortgage Adviser job is designed for advisers who are comfortable generating some of their own business but value being part of a team that shares best practice, referrals, and long-term thinking.
Key aspects of this Mortgage Adviser job include:
- Providing whole of market mortgage advice to a broad client base including first-time buyers and home movers
- Managing clients end to end with a strong focus on long-term relationships and repeat business
- Having broader client conversations that go beyond rate and borrowing alone
- Working alongside an in-house protection specialist to maximize client outcomes and earnings
- Using modern systems and processes designed to reduce friction and admin time
- Playing an active role in a values-driven firm that prioritizes people and integrity

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
