Mortgage Advice Bureau

Location: Milton Keynes

Working pattern: Hybrid – two days in estate agency branches, one day at head office and two days working from home

Salary: Approximately £30,000, depending on experience

Contract: Permanent, employed position

The opportunity

LionHart Mortgages & Protection is looking for an experienced Mortgage Adviser to join its growing team in Milton Keynes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an adviser who enjoys working closely with estate agency teams and providing customers with clear, high-quality mortgage advice.

All leads will be supplied through the company’s estate agency relationships, giving you an established flow of customers and the opportunity to focus on advising, converting business and delivering an excellent service.

Key responsibilities

  • Providing suitable mortgage advice to new and existing customers
  • Managing mortgage applications from the initial appointment through to completion
  • Responding promptly to leads and referrals supplied by estate agency branches
  • Building productive relationships with estate agency colleagues
  • Conducting customer appointments in branches, at head office and remotely
  • Maintaining regular contact with customers throughout the mortgage journey
  • Managing an active pipeline and progressing applications efficiently
  • Keeping accurate customer and compliance records
  • Meeting all relevant regulatory and quality standards
  • Delivering consistently high levels of customer service

About you

  • Hold CeMAP or an equivalent recognised mortgage qualification
  • Have approximately one year or more of mortgage advice experience
  • Have achieved Competent Adviser Status
  • Can confidently manage mortgage cases from initial appointment to completion
  • Are comfortable working with estate agency-generated leads
  • Build strong relationships with customers and estate agency teams
  • Are motivated, organised and able to manage their own workload
  • Can work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team
  • Live within a reasonable travelling distance of Milton Keynes
  • Are available to begin the role as soon as possible
