Beyond the Mortgage is the Bigger Picture. That's Where Our Advice Begins.

At Mortgage Beyond, we take the time to understand what our clients are really trying to achieve - today and in the future - and combine strategic thinking, specialist expertise, and deep market knowledge to help them find the right path forward.

But exceptional advice is about more than the outcome. How our clients experience the journey matters just as much.

Through the Mortgage Beyond Method, we're building an experience around clarity, understanding, proactive communication, and genuine care. We want every client to feel seen, heard, and supported - particularly when the journey becomes complex.

We're building a different kind of mortgage business, where the quality of the advice and the quality of the experience are equally important.

And I'm looking for someone who wants to help build it. Work Alongside Me, Not Under Me

I'm looking for someone who wants the autonomy to build their own success, without carrying the full responsibility of running a brokerage alone.

Someone who takes pride in exceptional work, wants to keep developing personally and professionally, and is excited by the opportunity to contribute to something meaningful.

Someone who doesn't simply want to write more mortgages, but wants to become an exceptional advisor and help redefine what great mortgage advice should feel like.

This opportunity is for a CAS-status Mortgage Advisor who shares that ambition. Why Mortgage Beyond?

We offer autonomy without isolation - the freedom to build your own success, backed by the opportunities, infrastructure, and support of a growing brokerage.

This is initially a self-employed position, offering:

  • A competitive and rewarding remuneration structure, agreed based on your experience, with enhanced earning potential for self-generated business and regular reviews as your contribution grows
  • Access to opportunities through our growing client and referral network, alongside the freedom and incentive to develop your own clients and introducer relationships
  • Systems and administrative support, allowing you to focus more of your energy on advising, relationships, and business development
  • Flexible, home-based working and genuine autonomy over how you manage your day
  • Experienced support and collaboration when you need another perspective
  • Investment in your personal and professional development
  • Long-term progression, with scope for greater responsibility and earning potential, and the potential to transition into an employed role in the future

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll work on interesting, often complex cases where curiosity, judgment, and strategic thinking matter - with the opportunity not simply to join Mortgage Beyond, but to help shape what it becomes.

As your contribution grows, so will the opportunity. The Person Who Will Thrive Here

Qualifications matter. But what will distinguish the right person is how you think, how you work, and how you show up for people.

  • You take ownership. You take responsibility for your clients, decisions, and results. You're proactive and trusted to follow through on what you promise - without needing to be managed closely.
  • You think beyond the obvious. You're curious by nature and interested in the story behind the case. Before asking “Which lender will do this?”, you want to understand what the client is really trying to achieve. You ask thoughtful - and sometimes difficult - questions, connect the detail to the bigger picture, and look for solutions others may overlook. A decline doesn't automatically end the conversation. You investigate, explore alternatives, and respectfully challenge decisions where appropriate.
  • You see the person behind the numbers. You're an exceptional listener with the emotional intelligence to understand both what a client is saying and what really matters to them. You balance empathy for the client's position with a clear understanding of the lender's perspective. You communicate with clarity and genuine care, creating the kind of experience where clients feel seen, heard, and supported.
  • Your standards are high. You care about the quality of your advice, your communication, and the details that shape the client experience. Integrity is non-negotiable. You don't cut corners or bend rules to make a case fit. You have the confidence to say NO when no is the right answer - and the determination to keep searching when a legitimate solution may still exist.
  • You're calm in complexity. Difficult cases don't intimidate you, they engage you. When something goes wrong, your instinct isn't to complain or look for someone to blame. You assess, communicate, and move towards a solution. You understand that clients need certainty when things become uncertain.
  • You're committed to growth. You're self-aware, open to constructive feedback, and genuinely interested in becoming better at what you do. You think independently, challenge assumptions, and are comfortable offering a different perspective - including to me.

I don't want someone who agrees with everything I say. I want someone whose judgment I can trust.

Please send your CV, together with brief answers to the three questions below to info@mortgagebeyond.co.uk:

  • Tell me about a case you're particularly proud of - not simply because of the mortgage you arranged, but because of the thinking behind your advice.
  • Tell me about a time you disagreed with a lender, client, or colleague. How did you handle it?
  • Why Mortgage Beyond? What about this opportunity particularly resonates with you?
