Job Overview
The role will require the individual to offer advice for fees to clients in relation to mortgage borrowing, equity release (if qualified) and the related insurances. Each piece of regulated advice will be logged in accordance with company procedures on the companies CRM systems. In some cases, further recording of figures and client data may be required off the CRM. A successful adviser will build a book of loyal repeat clients and introducers and generate referrals from these.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Liaise with potential clients and existing clients to find out their lending requirements
- Source options via sourcing system and/or with manual research
- Provide all clients with clear and concise advice
- Meet or speak with clients to help with form completion
- Submit applications to lenders
- Ensure all compliance is carried out fully
- Chase all parties involved in the application – lender, surveyors, solicitors, etc
- Keep clients informed and updated with the progress
- Keep the CRM systems up to date including all notes and dates for re-broking
- Ensure all documents are scanned onto the server into the necessary files and all paperwork is then shredded keeping in line with the office paperless office policy
- Updating any Google docs, figures, etc as needed
- Attend industry road shows and seminars to add to technical knowledge

Qualifications
- CeMAP (or equivalent qualification) and Equity Release qualification. If no Equity Release qualification, it is to be obtained within 12 months of start date.
- At least 2 years mortgage market experience
- The individual MUST be organised – good diary with attention to detail
- Must be friendly and confident
- Knowledge of 360 and Twenty7Tec software an advantage.

We're essentially looking for someone with a client base - no matter how small and the client would also be willing to buy in leads if necessary to support growth. They're not linked or attached to any estate agency and this is a possible Hybrid role, most of the team work at home 2 days per week and in the office 3 days, salary on offer is £35/£40k.
