Part-Time Mortgage & Protection Adviser

Location: Whiteley, Fareham, Hampshire
Working pattern: Office-based, three days per week
Hours: Approximately 21–22 hours per week
Salary: £18,000 basic salary, plus 15% commission
OTE: Approximately £28,000–£30,000, with potential to earn up to £35,000
Contract: Permanent, employed position
Now Mortgages LLP, part of Mortgage Advice Bureau, is looking for an experienced Mortgage & Protection Adviser to join its established team in Whiteley.
This is a permanent, part-time opportunity offering approximately 21–22 working hours across three days each week. It is ideal for an experienced adviser seeking a rewarding position with established lead sources, administrative support and excellent earning potential without committing to full-time hours.
You will receive a mixture of opportunities from estate agency introducers, online enquiries and the company’s existing client bank. Leads are managed through a central hub and distributed to advisers, providing a varied and consistent source of business.

Key responsibilities
- Providing suitable mortgage and protection advice to new and existing customers
- Conducting appointments primarily by telephone, with face-to-face meetings when required
- Managing leads received from estate agency introducers, online enquiries and the existing client bank
- Completing comprehensive fact-finds and making suitable recommendations
- Submitting completed fact-find documentation before handing cases to the administrative team
- Identifying customers’ mortgage, protection and insurance needs
- Maintaining regular communication with customers throughout the advice process
- Building productive relationships with estate agency and professional introducers
- Managing an active pipeline and meeting agreed business targets
- Maintaining accurate customer and compliance records
- Delivering an excellent customer experience from initial enquiry onwards

About you
- Hold CeMAP or an equivalent recognised mortgage qualification
- Are qualified and experienced in both mortgage and protection advice
- Have achieved Competent Adviser Status
- Have a successful track record of converting supplied leads
- Are confident conducting appointments over the telephone
- Can provide clear, compliant and customer-focused recommendations
- Are comfortable working towards agreed income and performance targets
- Have strong communication, organisational and relationship-building skills
- Can manage their workload effectively within part-time hours
- Are able to work from the Whiteley office three days per week
