We are currently looking for self-employed Mortgage and Insurance Advisers to join our busy and expanding team in Derby, offering an exciting opportunity to become an essential part of a dynamic financial services company. Hours of Work

Full time

As a Self Employed Mortgage and Insurance Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing independent advice to clients
  • Recommending suitable mortgage and insurance products from the entire market
  • Supporting clients throughout their journey

You will meet clients face-to-face at our office, their home or workplace, or over the phone, offering flexibility to suit your preferences. Admin support is provided to ensure you can focus on delivering excellent service, while leads will be supplied through advertising, websites, and professional introducers. Proactively networking and generating your own leads is also encouraged to maximise your success.

Mortgage and Insurance Advisor Requirements

  • Experience and a proven track record within the financial services industry desired
  • Qualified or studying towards CF1 & CF6 or CeMAP 1, 2 & 3 for mortgage advice; CF3, RO5, CeFA 3 or CeMAP 1 for insurance advice
  • Excellent communication and people skills with an outstanding phone manner
  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and a fast typing speed
  • A proactive attitude towards networking and building strong client relationships
