Who We Are
House & Holiday Home Mortgages is a remote-based, family-run brokerage with a specialism in holiday let and holiday home finance; a niche we know better than almost anyone in the market. We advise across residential, buy-to-let, holiday let, second home and equity release, and we're in the middle of an exciting period of growth.
We currently have a team of six advisors and we want to double it. Over the next 12 months we're looking to bring six talented people into a business that genuinely supports self-employed advisors to do their best work. We're building something and we’re looking for the right people to be a part of it.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced, self-employed Mortgage Advisor to join us. You'll advise across residential, BTL, holiday let, second home, specialist, and equity release if qualified, with a dedicated admin team behind you, a clear compliance framework through Mortgage Intelligence, and a commercial arrangement that rewards your hard work fairly.
If you have an existing client back-book, brilliant! That's our ideal. We’ve helped people in your position by taking away the admin stress and bringing you into a supportive culture. We know advisors with established books are like gold dust, and if that's you, we'd love to talk. But if you're a proven self-generator with a strong track record and a clear plan for how you'd build business, we're interested in that conversation too.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
