Role Description
As a self-employed Mortgage Advisor at Verona Mortgages, you will provide expert mortgage advice to a diverse range of clients in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom. In this full-time, Remote role, you will:

- Meet with clients to assess their financial circumstances
- Recommend appropriate mortgage products
- Guide them through the application and approval process
- Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and internal colleagues to ensure smooth progression of cases from initial enquiry to completion

Daily activities include:
- Conducting affordability assessments
- Preparing documentation
- Monitoring case pipelines
- Keeping clients informed at each stage
You will also be responsible for:
- Developing your own client base
- Supporting marketing efforts
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of mortgage products, criteria, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Possess skills in mortgage marketing and client acquisition, with the ability to build and manage a sustainable self-employed client portfolio.
- Possess CeMAP (or equivalent) qualifications and a solid understanding of UK mortgage regulations and compliance standards.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and build trust with clients.
- Possess strong organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple cases simultaneously and maintaining accurate records.
- Possess proficiency with mortgage sourcing systems and general IT skills; previous experience in a brokerage or banking environment is highly beneficial.
- Possess a proactive, self-motivated approach suited to self-employment, with a commitment to ethical advice and high-quality client service.
