We are looking for Self-Employed Mortgage and Protection Advisers…
You can be an experienced or newly qualified Adviser. Ideal for an existing Mortgage Adviser from an Estate Agency, Banking or Mortgage Brokerage background with a proven track record of advising clients. Equally for a newly qualified Adviser looking to start their career in a caring and supportive environment - we can guide and help with a structured training program.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Taunton, with the flexibility to work remotely for part / all of the time. As a Mortgage and Protection Adviser, you will be responsible for providing tailored mortgage and protection advice to clients, conducting market research to identify suitable financial products, and processing applications efficiently. Key responsibilities include liaising with lenders and providers, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of mortgage products and regulations. Building strong client relationships and ensuring exceptional client-centred service are integral aspects of this role.

Requirements:
- CeMAP or similar CII industry-recognised qualification required
- Previous experience in financial services, within a mortgage or protection advisory capacity, is a plus
- The ability to follow a compliance sales process
- Excellent sales skills and an understanding of the mortgage market
- Strong understanding of Mortgage Lenders & Insurance Providers procedures
- Excellent social and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain trust with clients and lenders
- Ability to work independently and adapt to both in-office and remote working environments
