Role Description
The Mortgage and Protection Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Carmarthen area. The advisor will meet with customers to assess mortgage and protection needs, explain suitable products and services, and provide clear, compliant advice tailored to individual circumstances, where you will be joining a hugely successful West Wales team (over 50% of that team having been promoted in the last 12 months)

Qualifications

- Strong customer service, active listening, and interpersonal skills to build trust and provide clear, empathetic advice.
- Sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information in a straightforward way.
- CeMAP (or equivalent mortgage advice qualification), or a strong willingness to obtain this qualification within agreed timescales.
- Proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work effectively in a branch environment and collaborate with estate agency colleagues.
- Previous experience in financial services, mortgage advising, banking, or a related field is beneficial but not essential if strong potential is demonstrated.
