Role Description
This is a full-time Mortgage and Protection Advisor role based in Carmarthen, offered on a hybrid basis with some work from home flexibility. The advisor will provide tailored mortgage and protection advice to clients, assessing their needs, recommending suitable products, and managing applications through to completion.

Daily responsibilities include:

- Conducting client consultations
- Maintaining accurate records
- Managing pipelines
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards
The advisor will also focus on generating new business through relationship building, networking, and following up on leads provided by the wider Just Mortgages SE Group. Collaboration with the dedicated Business Manager, participation in ongoing training, and proactive use of marketing and digital support will be key to growing a successful advisory practice.
Qualifications
- Strong client relationship and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial products in clear, accessible language.
- Proven experience in mortgage advising or financial services, with a solid understanding of mortgage products, protection policies, and lending criteria.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as CeMAP (or equivalent) and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing time effectively in a hybrid environment across office and home-based work.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to regulatory compliance and best-practice standards.
- Commercial awareness and business development skills, including networking, lead conversion, and building a sustainable client base.
- Competence with digital tools and CRM systems for managing client information, workflows, and documentation.
- Experience or interest in advising across additional areas such as wealth, equity release, business protection, or commercial lending is advantageous.
