Skills Development Manager

Stonebridge Mortgage Solutions Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Skills Development Manager to join our team full-time and make a real impact on adviser success.

The role
You’ll work closely with the Protection Account Manager and Sales team to help advisers enhance client conversations, sell mortgage and protection solutions effectively, and achieve their business targets. The role combines structured programme delivery, ad hoc coaching, and mentoring — both online and face-to-face — to develop adviser skills and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the Sales Development Programme to new and existing advisers.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to embed best practices.
- Support initiatives to increase protection policy sales.
- Deliver induction and training modules for new advisers.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with Product Providers.

Our ideal candidate
- CeMAP qualified with recent adviser experience.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
- Coaching, mentoring, or leadership experience/aptitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with performance reporting and learning systems.
- Able to fully satisfy the pre-employment screening process, which comprises our code of conduct, right to work, identity, 5 years referencing, AML, credit screen, financial sanctions and DBS checks
