This is a full-time Mortgage Broker role based in Ilford with a hybrid working arrangement, allowing some work from home. The Mortgage Broker will advise clients on suitable mortgage and protection products, assess financial circumstances, and manage applications from initial enquiry through to completion.

Daily Responsibilities Include:

  • Sourcing mortgage deals
  • Explaining options clearly
  • Handling documentation
  • Liaising with lenders, solicitors, and other stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

The role involves building and maintaining a personal client base, generating new business through networking and marketing activities, and following up leads provided by the wider Just Mortgages network. The Mortgage Broker will work closely with a dedicated Business Manager and central support teams to develop their business, optimize client service, and meet performance targets.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Mortgage Brokerage, including experience as a Mortgage Broker and familiarity with a range of mortgage products.
  • Knowledge of Debt Consolidation strategies and the ability to advise clients on suitable solutions within regulatory guidelines.
  • Experience with Mortgage Marketing and Brokerage promotion, including client acquisition and relationship-building activities.
  • Solid understanding of personal Finance, affordability assessments, and risk considerations relevant to mortgage and protection advice.
  • Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., CeMAP or equivalent) and a proven track record in regulated mortgage advice.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a client-focused and ethical approach.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and meet agreed performance and compliance standards.
  • Comfort using digital tools, CRM systems, and online platforms for lead management, client communication, and documentation.
