Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Mortgage and Protection Broker role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Mortgage Broker will advise clients on prime market mortgage products, assessing their financial situations, affordability, and long-term goals to recommend suitable mortgage solutions. The role involves explaining complex financial information in clear terms, supporting clients with remortgages and debt consolidation where appropriate, and maintaining accurate records in line with regulatory requirements. The Mortgage Broker will work closely with the wider insurance and finance team to provide a coordinated service and uphold the company’s standards of integrity and customer care.

Qualifications

  • Strong mortgage advisory skills, including experience as a Mortgage Broker and knowledge of the prime mortgage market.
  • Understanding of debt consolidation options and ability to assess suitability within a broader financial plan.
  • Experience in mortgage marketing and brokerage, including building and managing client relationships and referral networks.
  • Solid foundation in finance, including affordability assessment, basic financial analysis, and regulatory awareness.
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CeMAP or equivalent) and prior experience in a regulated financial services environment. Inc CASS
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client service skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and empathetically.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to acting in clients’ best interests.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage a varied workload in an on-site office environment.
