Company Description

Prime Property Finance is a professional mortgage and insurance brokerage supporting private clients, commercial clients, and property investors across the UK. The firm arranges residential, buy-to-let, bridging, development, and commercial mortgages, as well as mortgage protection and life insurance solutions. As a whole-of-market broker, Prime Property Finance works with both high street and specialist lenders to secure deals aligned with clients’ financial objectives. The company is based in Neath, South Wales, and provides tailored advice and services to clients nationwide.

Role Description

The Mortgage Broker role at Prime Property Finance is an on-site position based in Swansea. The individual in this role will meet with clients to assess their financial situation, explain mortgage and protection options, and recommend suitable products. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Building long-term client relationships and contributing to business development activities are core aspects of this position.

Qualifications

  • Strong mortgage advisory skills, including experience with residential, buy-to-let, bridging, development, and commercial mortgage products.
  • Knowledge of insurance and protection products, such as mortgage protection and life insurance, and the ability to integrate them into client recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, client relationship management, and negotiation skills, with a focus on clear, ethical, and compliant advice.
  • Solid analytical and numerical abilities to assess affordability, interpret lender criteria, and compare product options.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing documentation, tracking applications, and meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with UK mortgage market regulations and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CeMAP or equivalent) and prior experience in mortgage or financial services brokerage are highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency with standard office software and CRM systems, and the ability to work effectively within a small, collaborative team.
