Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Mortgage Broker at Just Mortgages SE Group. The Mortgage Broker will advise clients on mortgage and protection products, assess financial circumstances, and recommend suitable lending solutions, including options for debt consolidation where appropriate.

Daily responsibilities include:

- Managing client relationships
- Conducting affordability and risk assessments
- Preparing and submitting mortgage applications
- Liaising with lenders, solicitors, and other stakeholders throughout the process
The role also involves proactive business development, using mortgage marketing and networking to generate leads, build a pipeline, and develop a self-employed practice under the Just Mortgages brand. The Mortgage Broker will collaborate closely with the dedicated Business Manager to align activity with business goals, stay up to date with regulatory requirements, and deliver a high standard of client service.
Qualifications
- Strong mortgage advisory and brokerage skills, with experience working as Mortgage Brokers and handling end-to-end client cases.
- Knowledge of finance and lending principles, including Debt Consolidation and broader Finance considerations relevant to residential and buy-to-let mortgages.
- Ability to use Mortgage Marketing techniques and Brokerage networks to generate leads, build client relationships, and grow a self-employed business.
- Relevant industry qualifications such as CeMAP or equivalent, and a solid understanding of UK mortgage regulation and compliance.
- Proven track record in client-facing roles, with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Comfort working remotely with strong self-organization, time management, and digital literacy (CRM systems, online meeting tools, document management).
- Experience in protection products (life, critical illness, income protection) and awareness of opportunities in wealth, equity release, and commercial lending is advantageous.
- Ability to work as a self-employed adviser, demonstrating commercial awareness, resilience, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
