Company Description

Prime Property Finance is a professional mortgage and insurance brokerage supporting private clients, commercial clients, and investors across the UK. The firm arranges residential, buy-to-let, bridging, development, and commercial mortgages, as well as mortgage protection and life insurance. As a whole-of-market broker, Prime Property Finance has access to high street and specialist lenders, enabling tailored solutions aligned with each client’s financial objectives. Based in Neath, South Wales, the company provides a client-focused, advisory service with strong local roots and national reach.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Mortgage Broker role based in Swansea. The Mortgage Broker will advise clients on suitable mortgage and protection products, assessing their financial circumstances, goals, and risk profile. Daily responsibilities include:

The Mortgage Broker will contribute to business growth by:

Qualifications

  • Strong financial advisory skills, including assessing affordability, interpreting lending criteria, and recommending suitable mortgage and protection products.
  • Proficiency in case management, from initial client fact-finding through application submission, documentation, and completion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain complex products clearly and build long-term client relationships.
  • Solid organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple client cases and meet lender and regulatory deadlines.
  • Knowledge of UK mortgage markets, lender products, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FCA rules); CeMAP or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Comfort with using CRM systems and digital tools for research, documentation, and client communication.
  • Proven integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering fair, unbiased, and compliant advice.
  • Previous experience as a mortgage adviser/broker or in financial services is highly beneficial.
