Role Description

The Mortgage Consultant at Zuplex Estate Agent will provide professional mortgage advice to clients, guiding them through the full mortgage process from initial consultation to completion. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves maintaining detailed records, ensuring regulatory and compliance standards are met, and resolving client queries promptly and clearly. The Mortgage Consultant will also support the estate agency team by providing mortgage insights that help progress property transactions.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in London.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of the Mortgage Industry and Mortgages, with the ability to explain complex products in clear, accessible terms.
  • Experience in Finance and Mortgage Lending, including assessing affordability and reviewing financial documentation.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills, with a client-centered approach and the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
  • Understanding of UK regulatory and compliance requirements related to mortgage advice and lending.
  • Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in mortgage advice or financial services (e.g., CeMAP or equivalent) are highly beneficial.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with sales, lettings, and external partners.
  • Previous experience in an estate agency or financial services environment in the UK is an advantage.
