Mortgage Adviser - Employed or Self-Employed
Location: South West England (Hybrid)

Our client is a highly respected international financial services organisation seeking an experienced Mortgage Adviser to join its expanding mortgage division.

The Opportunity
The successful candidate will provide expert advice on UK residential and Buy-to-Let mortgages, supporting clients with straightforward and complex lending requirements.
- Advise clients on UK residential and Buy-to-Let mortgage solutions.
- Support both UK residents and expatriate clients with their lending requirements.
- Generate new business through referrals, introducers and professional networking.
- Manage the mortgage process from initial enquiry through to completion.
- Structure and place more complex lending cases, including self-employed applicants, foreign income, overseas assets and portfolio landlords.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders and professional partners.
- Work alongside financial advisers to deliver integrated financial planning solutions.
- Ensure all advice is delivered in accordance with FCA regulations and compliance standards.
- Promote the mortgage proposition and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

About You
We're looking for candidates who possess:
- CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) – essential.
- Previous experience advising on UK residential and Buy-to-Let mortgages.
- Strong knowledge of the UK mortgage market and lender criteria.
- Experience handling complex mortgage applications is highly desirable.
- Confidence working with self-employed applicants, expatriates and clients with non-standard income structures.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A commercial mindset with a genuine client-first approach.
- The motivation to thrive within a fast-paced and professional environment.
