Mortgage Case Manager

Location: North London

The opportunity

An established and growing property business is looking for an experienced Mortgage Case Manager to manage mortgage and lending applications from initial assessment through to completion.

The Case Manager will act as a central point of contact between brokers, lenders, underwriters, valuation providers, and clients.

The initial focus will be predominantly residential lending, with the opportunity to support bridging, buy-to-let, commercial, and more complex finance cases as the service develops.

The role

You will take ownership of a portfolio of live mortgage and finance applications, ensuring that each case progresses accurately and efficiently.

The role will involve assessing borrower circumstances, understanding lender criteria, researching suitable funding options, and managing applications through submission, underwriting, formal offer, and completion.

This position would suit an experienced Mortgage Case Manager, Mortgage Administrator, Underwriter, or lender-side professional with strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage relationships across multiple parties.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess client circumstances, income structures, and property details to establish suitable borrowing options
  • Research the lending market and identify appropriate finance solutions from a broad panel of lenders
  • Compare interest rates, loan-to-value options, valuation routes, lender criteria, and overall product suitability
  • Present brokers with clear lending options and recommendations for each application
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of lender products, appetite, and underwriting requirements
  • Prepare and submit accurate mortgage and finance applications through lender portals
  • Manage applications from submission through to formal offer and completion
  • Liaise directly with lenders, business development managers, underwriters, and valuation providers
  • Respond to underwriting queries and provide any additional information required to progress applications
  • Monitor valuations, documentation, outstanding conditions, and lender requirements throughout the case lifecycle
  • Identify potential risks or delays at an early stage and recommend practical solutions
  • Provide clear and regular progress updates to brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders
  • Manage a high-volume pipeline of applications at different stages of the lending process
  • Maintain accurate and complete case records in accordance with FCA and internal compliance requirements
  • Support the delivery of a clear, well-managed, and professional experience for clients

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
