Key Accountabilities
Maximise origination across Residential, Buy-to-Let, Second Charge, Bridging, Commercial and Development Finance through effective sourcing and distribution channel management
- Lead relationships with sourcing, criteria, affordability and distribution platforms; negotiate commercial terms to drive value and market reach
- Own product and criteria accuracy across all sourcing systems including sign-off for product loads and resolution of load errors
- Manage end-to-end delivery of product launches, rate changes and withdrawals, including broker communications and go-live timeline management
- Act as business owner for distribution technology integrations such as DIP APIs and pricing engines; define requirements and collaborate with IT to deliver solutions
- Monitor competitor rates, fees and criteria across all lending lines using platform and market data sources
- Analyse market ranking and placement by product, LTV band and channel; identify pricing or criteria constraints limiting volume
- Conduct gap analysis to identify where products are filtered out in broker search results; recommend criteria changes to the Product team
- Develop data-backed pricing and positioning recommendations to inform Product and Pricing strategy
- Prepare regular market intelligence reporting covering channel performance, placement share, visibility and ROI for Product Managers and senior leadership
- Deliver distribution and customer outcomes intelligence to support target market monitoring, fair value assessments and product governance aligned with the Consumer Duty
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Compliance and IT to ensure accurate, on-schedule launches of new products and channels
- Track and deliver against success measures: placement share, conversion rates, product load accuracy, timely updates, and reliable high-quality intelligence

Skills & Competencies
- Advanced Excel ability to build and maintain automated reporting
- Working knowledge of sourcing and criteria systems including Twenty7tec, Iress and Mortgage Brain
- Proven commercial acumen ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable pricing and product recommendations
- Partnership management and negotiation skills, with ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and technology initiatives
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking
- Proactive, collaborative working style comfortable engaging with Product, Sales, Compliance and IT teams
Knowledge & Qualifications
Essential:
- Experience in mortgage distribution, intermediary partnerships, pricing or market analytics within a UK lender, network or sourcing provider
- Strong knowledge of the UK mortgage and specialist lending market, including intermediary distribution models
- Understanding of pricing, placement and product positioning principles

- CeMAP or equivalent qualification
