Role Description

As a Mortgage & Insurance Adviser (Self employed) at Broker Advice Limited, you will work full time in a remote capacity, providing clients with expert advice on mortgage products and insurance solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

You will manage your own client portfolio, handle applications from initial inquiry through to completion, and maintain accurate records and documentation. The role also involves:

  • Ongoing client communication
  • Responding to queries
  • Liaising with lenders and insurers
  • Staying current with market trends and regulatory requirements

You will be expected to operate with a high level of independence while adhering to company standards and compliance policies.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Finance and Insurance knowledge, including understanding of mortgage products, protection policies, and general financial principles.
  • Candidates should possess solid Consulting and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust, identify client needs, and provide tailored solutions.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear explanations of complex financial information.
  • Relevant qualifications in financial services, mortgage advice, or insurance (such as industry-recognized certifications or licenses) are highly beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on a self-employed basis, manage time effectively, and handle a remote workload is important.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services, and experience using digital tools and CRM systems, is advantageous.
  • Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and a client-focused mindset are essential.
