MOT Technician Opportunity in Maidstone
Our client, one of the UK's fastest-growing fast-fit automotive businesses, is currently seeking an MOT Technician for their retail centre in Maidstone.
As an MOT Technician, you would be responsible for:
- Completing MOTs on customers' cars
- Performing other light repair work
To be applicable for this role, you must have a valid MOT licence and experience working as a Vehicle Technician. You do not need to be a qualified technician for this role; our client is happy to put you through your qualifications!

Pay/Salary
£33,000 to £35,000
OTE
Uncapped and realistic £3,600
Shift and Schedule
08:30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 to 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

MOT Technician Responsibilities
- Completing MOTs on customer vehicles
- Light and full-service work
- Fast-fit duties as and when required
- Working with the rest of the workshop to achieve targets
- Working with other centre departments (Service, Parts, etc.) and ensuring that they are well informed
- Ensuring the correct DVSA process is followed
To be a MOT Technician, you will need:
- Valid UK driving licence (Essential)
- Experience working as a Vehicle Technician (no qualifications needed)
- Experience as an MOT Tester
- A valid MOT licence (Essential)
- A passion for the Automotive industry and a desire to develop further
- A desire to learn and develop your knowledge of Hybrid cars
